Some families with very active children or children with special needs
due to behavioral disabilities such as ADD, ADHD, autism and others, find
inclusion in Church and parish life challenging.
Sr. Chrisann Mortensen, Consultant for Persons with Differing Abilities
and Religious Education, with the help of Carol Race, mother of two autistic
children, are starting a special ministry for these families. We want
to hear your story of inclusion or exclusion in parish life, in order
to assist in making Church a more welcoming place.
