Directions to Cathedral & John XXIII

Cathedral High School and John XXIII Middle School is located at the intersection of 7th Avenue North and 3rd Street North (just north of downtown Saint Cloud, and across the street from the diocesan Pastoral Center). If you need further driving directions, call the school at 320-251-3421.

June classes will be in the south building, top floor. Please enter via door #1. Signs will be posted within the building. If you have accessibility needs, please call 320-252-1021 for arrangements.

If from the West on Interstate 94

  1. Take Exit 158 (left lane exit) onto County Road 75 (near Saint Joseph).
  2. Stay on this road through the communities of Saint Joseph and Waite Park.
  3. This road eventually becomes Division Street and Minnesota State Highway 23.
  4. In Downtown Saint Cloud, turn left (north) onto 4th Avenue (near Wells Fargo).
  5. Continue northbound three blocks.
  6. Turn left (west) onto 1st Street North (becomes 2nd Street North).
  7. Continue westbound three blocks.
  8. Turn right (north) onto 7th Avenue North
  9. Continue northbound one block.
  10. Turn left (west) onto 3rd Street North, and then left again into the parking lot.
  11. Park your car and then walk across the intersection to the building.

If from the Southwest on Minnesota State Highway 23

  1. Follow the Highway 23 signage to Downtown Saint Cloud.
  2. Be aware that Highway 23 is NOT a straight route. It actually turns left (north) onto Highway 15 and then right (east) onto Division Street.
  3. In Downtown Saint Cloud, turn left (north) onto 4th Avenue (near Wells Fargo).
  4. Continue northbound three blocks.
  5. Turn left (west) onto 1st Street North (becomes 2nd Street North).
  6. Continue westbound three blocks.
  7. Turn right (north) onto 7th Avenue North
  8. Continue northbound one block.
  9. Turn left (west) onto 3rd Street North, and then left again into the parking lot.
  10. Park your car and then walk across the intersection to the building. ool.

If from the Southeast on Interstate 94

  1. Take Exit 171 (right lane exit) at County Road 75 (near Saint Augusta).
  2. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right (north) onto County Road 75.
  3. Continue northbound.
  4. Turn right (east) at Clearwater Road (near Cenex).
  5. Beware of the sudden curve left (north).
  6. Continue northbound.
  7. This road eventually becomes 9th Avenue (and even temporarily 10th Avenue).
  8. When approaching downtown, beware of a curve left and then right.
  9. Proceed under a bridge, through downtown, and under another set of bridges.
  10. Continue northbound approximately one block beyond the bridges.
  11. Turn right (east) onto 5th Street North.
  12. Continue eastbound two blocks.
  13. Turn right (south) onto 7th Ave North.
  14. Continue southbound two blocks.
  15. Turn left (west) onto 3rd Street North, and then left into the parking lot.
  16. Park your car and then walk across the intersection to the building.

If from the Southeast on US Federal Highway 10

  1. Turn left (west) onto East Saint Germain Street (near Copper Lantern).
  2. Continue westbound, crossing the Mississippi River.
  3. This road becomes 1st Street North and then 2nd Street North.
  4. Turn right (north) onto 7th Avenue North
  5. Continue northbound one block.
  6. Turn left (west) onto 3rd Street North, and then left again into the parking lot.
  7. Park your car and then walk across the intersection to the building.

If from the North on US Federal Highway 10

  1. Turn right (west) onto East Saint Germain Street (near Copper Lantern).
  2. Proceed westbound, crossing the Mississippi River.
  3. This road becomes 1st Street North and then 2nd Street North.
  4. Turn right (north) onto 7th Avenue North
  5. Continue northbound one block.
  6. Turn left (west) onto 3rd Street North, and then left again into the parking lot.
  7. Park your car and then walk across the intersection to the building.
