In The Ministry of the Word is a Catechist Formation and Training Process for Catechists in schools, religious education or faith formation programs. 

The program consists of sixteen - two hour sessions that may be arranged when convenient for the parish/school over a period of months or possibly years. These sessions can be completed in colaboration with other parishes or deaneries.  Each session give adults some background in a variety of areas such as scripture, prayer, liturgy, etc. that will help provide the necessary tools to be a more effective catechist.
