GENERAL INFORMATION

The best way to reserve materials is to use the video request link or use the order form we provide in the office or in our catalogs. You can also download it now.

Time, however, is sometimes of the essence in the busy life of those who order from us. A telephone call to (320) 252-1021 or email is all that is necessary to reserve the media.

Orders should be sent well in advance of your scheduled date of use. Materials are booked on a first come basis. Please place orders for seasonal materials early. The standard rental period is for one week. If you need the video for longer than that, we may be able to work something out with you.

All media will be mailed via the Post Office at least one week prior to your use date, whenever possible. However, we are not able to guarantee when media will arrive because of late returns from previous users and unpredictable mail. We will plan to have your media arrive for previewing at least one day prior to your showing date.

If the media is not canceled three days before the mailing or pick up date, you will be asked to pay the rental fee. We cannot honor cancellations after the programs have been shipped out of our office. If you have a problem showing the material on a given day, contact us and we can work with you, given the video is available.

Trying to collect overdue materials is very time consuming. Therefore, we will charge a fee of $5.00 per week for overdue materials. If there is any kind of problem, call us at (320) 252-1021. We will work with you.

Strict adherence to all copyright laws is mandatory. DO NOT DUPLICATE TAPES!

The tapes we buy are licensed for public viewing. These are not the same tapes as you can buy in the store or rent at a rental store. If you would show a tape you bought or rented that does not have a license for public viewing, you are breaking the law. TEACHERS/EDUCATORS ARE NOT EXEMPT FROM THIS LAW!

1) All media must be returned by the due date listed on your receipt. Failure to do this causes much inconvenience to those who have planned on using it next.

2) Please call us at (320) 252-1021 if you have any problems.

3) You may mail the materials back to us, drop them off in the Media Center, or you can use our outdoor drop box. It is located on the North Door, facing 7th Street North.

4) You will be charged an overdue fee of $5.00 per day for any media that is not returned on time. We will work with you if there is a problem you cannot control.

5) PLEASE RETURN ALL MATERIALS THAT CAME WITH THE VIDEO, AND PLEASE REWIND!

CARE OF MATERIALS

1) Do not allow any media to be exposed to extreme cold or heat, e.g. leave in a hot or cold car.

2) Return materials in a mailing case or strong box.

3) In cold weather, please let the tape warm up to room temperature before using it.

4) Report any damage to materials you are returning.

Since our major support is provided through the Annual Appeal and the assessment to the Catholic parishes in the Saint Cloud Diocese, our first priority and concern is to the people of the Diocese of St. Cloud.

Rental Fees are based on a one week rental period.

You may preview videos, or use them for home/private use for half the rate.
