Fr. Stephen Adrian is pastor of St. Matthew Parish, St. Paul, Minnesota since 1978. He is a consultant to Schools of Social Work of College of St. Catherine and University of St. Thomas. He is a board member of Friends of Catholic Urban Schools and he was a participant of the 40th Anniversary of the Gaudium et Spes Symposium held at the Vatican in Rome in 2005.

Fr. Joseph Atadana, Ghanan priest
Fr. Joseph Atadana is a diocesan priest from Ghana, on sabbatical leave in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. By profession, he is a Canonist and graduated in Urban University, Rome, 1995. He worked as Executive Secretary for the Ghana Catholic Conference in the Department of Judicial Matters and also served as visiting lecturer in Canon Law to the Major Seminary in Tamale, Ghana. In the same Conference and at the same time and place, he worked as the Executive Secretary for the National Union for Diocesan Priests Associations, Ecumenical Relations, the Clergy and the Religious and Inter-Religious Relations. He is in his 20th year in the Priesthood, and has a heart and passion for mission!

Holli Boelz, Autism Resource Specialist, District 742, St. Cloud, MN
Holli Boelz is an Autism Resource Specialist with the St. Cloud School District. She works with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in Kindergarten through age 21. She assists school staff with educational programming and provides support and resources to families of students with ASD. Previously, she was a Special Education Teacher at North Jr. High School in St. Cloud.

Michael Borka is an Assistant Professor of Education at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University. Working with teachers and students from kindergarten through college, Mike has been fortunate to share his interest in literacy learning in many Metro and Out state classrooms. Prior to arriving at CSB/SJU, Mike taught Reading Recovery, second, third, and fourth grades in the Rosemount/Apple Valley/Eagan District and served as a district literacy trainer. Mike enjoys reading, writing, golfing (hacker), and drinking really good coffee.

Janet has a B.A. Degree in Organizational Management and Communication, a Certificate in Management, and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR).

Bonnie Cassady, Teacher, District 742, St. Cloud, MN
Bonnie Cassady is an Autism Resource Specialist for the St. Cloud School District. She has been on the Minnesota State Autism Network since l996, which provides training opportunities to teachers and parents throughout the State. Bonnie is a Speech Language Pathologist and has provided educational services and consultation for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their parents for the past 29 years. She has attended numerous trainings by some of the most notable professionals in the field and implemented their strategies and program designs within the educational setting.

Chris Codden, Director of the Office of Marriage and Family, Diocese of Saint Cloud, St. Cloud, MN
Chris's role at the Office of Marriage & Family encompasses the ministries of marriage preparation, marriage education, family life education and the ministries of respect life and natural family planning. She is president-elect for the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers and serves on the Pastoral Letter Implementation Team for the USCCB's up-coming pastoral letter on marriage. Chris is married to and has three adult children and 2 grandsons.

John Cunneen, President of The Cunneen Company
John F. Cunneen, is president of The Cunneen Company, a national, Catholic, fundraising firm. He joined the family business in 1995, upon completing his B.A. in Business Administration from Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
John began his career as a Regional Director heading the New England Territory serving Catholic Parishes and was responsible for the sale, management, and direction of more than seventy-five Capital and Stewardship Campaigns throughout the New England region raising more than eighty million dollars.
In January 2000, he was promoted to President, a role that gave him day-to-day responsibility for running Cunneen and assuming full management responsibility for the company, which includes fulfilling the company’s mission of enabling Catholic Parishes throughout the United States to realize their full fundraising potential.
Mr. Cunneen is the author of Cunneen’s guidebook, "A Practical Guide to Stewardship in Today's Catholic Church" presently being used in hundreds of Catholic parishes across the country Cunneen's and Cunneen’s manual, A Guide to Pledge Redemption. Mr. Cunneen has also authored a seminar series exploring the topic of Stewardship in today's Catholic parish. This series has been presented to several hundred religious communities across the country. Most recently John supervised a diocesan-wide stewardship appeal for the 120 parishes in the Diocese of Ogdensburg.
Mr. Cunneen's derives great personal enjoyment from his family that includes his wife Cheryl as well as a very close relationship with his parents, two brothers and a burgeoning number of nieces and nephews. Today John and Cheryl are enjoying the wonders of parenthood with their daughter Hollis Elizabeth and triplets Cashlyn Ann, Sadie Linda, and Quinn James.

Miguel Diaz, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Theology, School of Theology, St. John's University, Collegeville, MN
Miguel Diaz is Associate Professor of Theology at Saint John's School of Theology*Seminary and the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University. He earned his doctorate in Systematic Theology from the University of Notre Dame, and is past President of the Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians of the United States. Diaz is author of On Being Human: U.S. Hispanic and Rahnerian Perspectives, winner of the 2002 Book Prize awarded by the Hispanic Theological Initiative; and co-editor of From the Heart of Our People: Latino/a Explorations in Catholic Systemic Theology (Orbis Books).

Bernie Evans, Ph.D., Professor of Pastoral Theology and Rural Social Ministries, School of Theology, St. John's University, Collegeville, MN
Bernie received his Ph.D. from the Catholic University of America, and has served as a Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at St. John's University in Collegeville since 1981. He is the Virgil Michael Ecumenical Chair in Rural Social Ministries.

Melissa Hanzsek-Brill, Adjunct Professor, Education Department, St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN
Dr. Melissa Hanzsek-Brill received both her M.A. in applied mathematics and her Ph.D. in mathematics education at the University of Georgia. She is part-time in the St. Cloud State University Mathematics Department where she teaches courses focusing on preparing elementary teacher candidates in the field of mathematics as well as other core curriculum mathematics courses. Dr. Hanzsek-Brill has been involved in several in-service workshop courses with local district teachers over the past 10 years, and currently is working with the St. Cloud District 742 to implement a three year algebra grant.

Fr. Mark Innocenti is the pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Little Falls MN and the associate pastor at Holy Family Church in Belle Prairie MN. He has been the Chaplin of the Courage Ministry in the Saint Cloud Diocese for the past five years.

Dr. Richard Johnson, Senior Adult Ministry, Johnson Institute, St. Louis, MO
Dr. Johnson is nationally recognized for his pioneering work in Maturing Adult Faith Formation and Spiritual Gerontology. He has taught hundreds of maturing adult ministry leaders. His fresh ideas and enthusiasm on the spiritual aspects of adult development and aging have inspired scores of maturing adults to follow their hearts and live more abundant lives in Christ. He is a dynamic, engaging, and compassionate teacher who delights in seeing his students grow personally and spiritually. His latest book: Parish Ministry for Maturing Adults: Principles, Plans, and Bold Proposals (23rd Publications, 2007) charts a refreshing and compelling new course for faith formation for maturing adults. Dr. Johnson is a practicing Roman Catholic; he and his wife live in St. Louis; they have three grown children and three grandchildren.

Dr. Saundra Kennedy
Dr. Saundra Kennedy holds a Masters in Religious Education from Loyola University, New Orleans and a doctorate from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary, New York City. She is a former Catholic school teacher and taught at the elementary, junior high and high school levels. Presently, beginning her 20th year with William H. Sadlier, Inc., Dr. Kennedy serves as Sadlier’s National Religion Consultant, is a contributor and consultant for many of Sadlier’s catechetical materials and travels nationwide sharing her insights, experiences and love of catechetics and Catholic Education.

Bishop John F. Kinney has served the Diocese of Saint Cloud since July of 1995. Prior to coming to Saint Cloud, he served as Bishop of the Diocese of Bismarck and as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.

Tom Klecker holds master degrees and licenses in both psychology and social work for 35 years. Tom has experience in private practice, inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, teaching and community mental health. He is married with 2 adult children and is a grandfather.

As the Leadership development staff member, Vicki is responsible to create, develop and implement training and formation of all leaders including members, staff and clergy. Vicki works with all of the ministry area councils and also the Leadership Development Fund Board to ensure that skill training and leadership development permeate all activities and events. Kathy Langer, Director of Social Concerns, Catholic Charities, St. Cloud, MN
Kathy Langer is a representative on the Social Concerns Department of the Minnesota Catholic Conference, is on the Board of Directors of the St. Cloud Diocese Mission Office, and serves on the Diocesan Education Council.
Langer earned a Master’s Degree in Theology, with a concentration in Spirituality and Scripture, from the St. John’s School of Theology. She has over 20 years of experience as a lay ecclesial minister in the areas of faith formation, youth ministry, campus ministry and parish pastoral ministry.

Kateri Mancini is the Coordinator of Mission Education with the Saint Cloud Diocesan Mission Office. Robert McCarty, Ph.D., Director, National Federation of Youth Ministers, Washington, DC
Bob McCarty is the Executive Director for the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry, which provides networking, resources, and leadership for the development of youth ministry within the Catholic Church. He has been in professional youth ministry since 1973, serving in diocesan, parish, school, and community programs. Bob offers workshops and training programs in ministry skills and issues internationally. His recent books are Thriving in Youth Ministry and The Vision of Catholic Youth Ministry: Fundamentals, Theory and Practice through Saint Mary's Press and his newest book is Be A Champion for Youth: Standing With, By and For Young People, co- authored with his wife, Maggie. Bob is also a volunteer in his parish youth ministry and catechetical program at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Fulton, MD. Bob has an MA in Religious Education from LaSalle University and a D.Min. from the Graduate Theological Foundation in Indiana. His hobbies include rock climbing, caving, and cycling.

Fr. Anthony Ruff, OSB, Associate Professor of Theology, School of Theology, St. John's University, Collegeville, MN
Fr. Anthony Ruff, OSB, is a monk of St. John's Abbey and professor of theology and liturgical music. He served on the US Bishops' Committee on the Liturgy, and he is currently on the advisory board of the Hymn Society and the National Association of pastoral Musicians. He is a frequent presenter across the country, and publishes in many journals on liturgical music topics. He is the author of "Sacred Music and Liturgical Reform," a 720-page study of the music reforms of the Second Vatican Council. He is founding director of the National Catholic Youth Choir, a summer camp which takes place at St. John's each summer. He plays organ and directs Gregorian chant in the monastery, and does priestly ministry for the Sisters of St. Benedict and at the Stearns County jail.

Pixie Smith has been active in the ministries of catechesis and liturgy for 18 years. She has been a catechist for grades Pre K through 10th including sacramental prep for the sacraments of initiation. She was the coordinator of the children's liturgy programs and elementary faith formation at her 3500 family parish for 10 years. She was a part-time consultant for Benziger publishing for two years prior to coming to RCL Benziger full time. She is currently working on her degree in Theology/Organizational Leadership from Spring Hill College in Mobile.

Katie grew up in Minneapolis Minnesota as the oldest of nine. She taught in Catholic Grade Schools in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota and Washington State for 16 years. For the past 20 years she has served in Faith Formation in parishes in the Minneapolis St. Paul area. She has a Masters Degree in Theology and a Specialist Degree in Education. Katie is an Educational Consultant at Loyola Press and has been a participant in their Companions in Prayer program.

Tom Sparough, Space Painter, Juggler, Storyteller, Writer, and Facilitator
Tom Sparough is a juggler, storyteller, writer, and facilitator. He is known to hundreds of thousands of people as the Space Painter, which comes from a description of juggling that Tom received from a two-year-old child.
He has performed across North America and in Europe for corporations, churches, conferences, schools, parks, festivals and special events.
As a facilitator and workshop leader this 25-year, veteran juggler has taught hundreds of thousands of people the arts of juggling and balancing. He offers a wide range of hands-on experiences that promote skill development, self-esteem, analogy insight, fellowship, and team building.
With a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Cincinnati, Tom weaves important life-skill messages into his presentations. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a former newspaper reporter and editor.
He has been a featured presenter at social service, religious, health care, and education conferences from California to New York.
Mr. Sparough lives in Cincinnati with his wife and two children, and most of the other children in the neighborhood.

S. Ruth is a Benedictine sister from St. Benedict's Monastery in St. Joseph,MN. She holds a B.S. and Doctor of Pharmacy from Auburn University and a Masters in Spirituality and Certification in Spiritual Direction/Retreat Work from Creighton University. She currently works for the Central Minnesota Heart Center at St. Cloud Hospital where her primary responsibility is to develop holistic services.

Marcie Stokman BSN, MA, Speaker and Writer, Crosby, MN
With gentle humor and real life stories, Marcie speaks and writes to parents and teachers to live with passion and purpose. Marcie presents workshops to parents and teachers on “Raising Readers and Writers”. She also leads women’s retreats and is a frequent speaker at parenting conferences. Marcie and her husband Peter have seven children, and live in Crosby, MN.

Roxann Storms, LSW, MS, has been a licensed social worker for over 15 years, holds a degree in education and is Certified in Thanatology through the Association for Death Education and Counseling. As the Coordinator of Life Transitions Services, the grief and loss program of Catholic Charities, Roxann has extensive experience in developing and facilitating peer led support groups, conducting grief presentations, and providing individual griefwork. In addition to providing suicide prevention education, she has helped several communities process the complicated grief of completed suicides. Roxann also volunteers with Camp Amanda, a weekend grief camp for children, and does bereavement follow-up as a hospice volunteer.

Barbara Sutton is the Director of Ministerial Formation and Field Education at the School of Theology•Seminary at St. John’s University in Collegeville. She also serves as the National Advisor for Rural Catechesis for Harcourt Religion Publishers. Barbara recently moved to Minnesota after serving eight years in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, WV. She served for six years as Director of the Office of Parish Care and Empowerment working with the development of lay ecclesial ministry, as well as adult faith formation and the parish pastoral councils. For the last two years she served in the Bishop’s Curia as Executive Director, Diocesan Pastoral Services. Prior to her time in WV, she served 13 years in parish ministry in Florida. She is a member of the Conference for Pastoral Planning and Council Development and serves on their Executive Board and Chair of the Formation Committee. I have been married for 18 years. We have 7 children 4 in our home and 3 have died from the miscarriage experience. Our family visits the cemetery on the anniversaries of our babies' deaths and also Memorial Day. We started this miscarriage ministry to help families receive dignity and respect. I received my M.A. in Pastoral Ministry in 2005.

Jackie Witter is the founding Director of iLLUMINARE: Called for Service, Formed in Christ, The Lay Ecclesial Ministry Project of St. Paul’s Monastery in St. Paul. iLLUMINARE is committed to the spiritual renewal and ongoing formation of lay ecclesial ministers. Previous positions include Director of Ministerial Formation at St. John’s School of Theology•Seminary in Collegeville, and Director of Catechesis and Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Jackie has a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, a Master’s Degree in Theology from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from St. John’s University in Collegeville.

Theresa Wyburn received a master's and licentiate in canon law from St. Paul's University, Ottawa, On, Canada, in 2000; and a master's in Adult Christian Community Development from Regis Jesuit University in Denver, Colorado, in 1990. Theresa serves as a judge for the diocesan tribunal in addition to serving as a judge for the St. Paul/Minneapolis appellate court. Theresa also coordinates the due process office for the Saint Cloud Diocese.
