Another Letter from children in Homa Bay to the Kids in Minnesota

Letter from Kids in Homa Bay, Kenya

A letter from a child in Migori Primary School, Diocese of Homa Bay, Kenya to Youth in the St. Cloud Diocese

Now the kids in both dioceses of Minnesota and Kenya are getting involved in this friendship as well. To the immediate right you will find another letter written by a child from Kenyan.

Sharing of letters like these through our web pages are just another attempt to make the kids of Homa Bay's dream a reality by creating a link to you. Here is another example of one letter written by a child in Kenya.

This boy named Frederick writes that he "hopes you are fine and studying well." He also thanks God for making each of us. He writes about the visit of Rachel Lauer (a teenager from Sauk Center, Minnesota that visited his school and parish in August of 2004). He writes about how happy he was to hear Rachel speak, share gifts, and to teach them about Karate.

At the bottom of his letter, Frederick shares a little riddle... BIBLE... Best Instruction Before Leaving Earth.

Through letters like these, youth share about their daily life, school, hobbies, and desire to learn more about you. Maybe you or your youth group might think about getting involved in this partnership, exchanging letters, or doing a special service project.
