Learn more about how children live in Southern Sudan.

Sudan is one country in Africa.   Can you find Sudan on a map of Africa?   The people of one area of Sudan are called the Toposa.

Let us take a look at what its like for kids like you to live in Southern Sudan. What do you think it is like to go to school in Southern Sudan? Do you think it is the same as your school in Minnesota? Look at the photo/video link to the left. If your computer is capable, you can watch a short video of your friends singing and practicing their alphabet at a Mission School in Southern Sudan. Simply clicking on the photo to the left.

COOL! It amazing that the kids are having so much fun in school in Southern Sudan. The kids are so happy.

They even sing the same alphabet just like you. You can see the children are having so much fun in school. These children are learning English. They also speak a second language called Toposa. "Maata" is the word for hello in Toposa.

It's truly amazing to learn about kids on the other side of the world.   Although these children from Southern Sudan may live very differently, they are kids just like you!   We are all children of God.
