NACMP Mission Statement
We, the National Association of Catechetical Media Professionals,
existing in a media oriented world, seek to promote the development and
effective use of media in faith formation throughout Catholic Dioceses by:

Raising awareness concerning the importance,
validity and integration of media (print and electronic),
that reflect the gospel values, to educate and to foster the
development of the connection between life and faith;

Promoting media literacy and the media resource centers
as vital components of the life and work of the church;

Providing a forum for mutual support and exchange of ideas
that concern diocesan media professionals and
the management of their resource centers;

Collaborating with publishers for the development
of credible formational media resources that embrace
the diverse needs of all God's people.
