Holdingford, Opole, St. Anna and St. Wendel

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Hedwig and St. Mary in Holdingford, Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Opole, Immaculate Conception in St. Anna and St. Columbkille in St. Wendel are asked to continue as a five-parish cluster. It is recommended this five-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. These clustered parishes are also encouraged to continue to collaborate in staffing for faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/ outreach, youth ministry and support services.

St. Augusta and Luxemburg

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Mary Help of Christians in St. Augusta and St. Wendelin in Luxemburg are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These twinned parishes are asked to continue to strongly support the Catholic school options available to their parishioners and to collaborate with these resources. These twinned parishes are also encouraged to plan and staff collaboratively in areas related to faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry, business management and support services.

St. Cloud (St. Michael, St. Paul and St. Peter)

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Michael, St. Paul and St. Peter in St. Cloud are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended this three-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor), a pastoral associate and a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. This parish cluster is encouraged to continue to maintain the exemplary collaboration that has created and sustained SS. Peter, Paul and Michael School. The parishes in this cluster should also consider opportunities for collaboration in areas such as faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry, business management and support services.

St. Cloud (Holy Spirit)

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that Holy Spirit Parish in St. Cloud remain a single parish with a resident pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to maintain Catholic education choices, faith formation and religious education alternatives, liturgy and music ministry, staffing for youth ministry, parish nursing/outreach, business management and support service resources.

St. Cloud (St. Anthony)

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Anthony Parish in St. Cloud remain a single parish with a resident pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to maintain Catholic education choices, faith formation and religious education alternatives, liturgy and music ministry, staffing for youth ministry, parish nursing/outreach and appropriate business management and support service resources.

St. Cloud (St. John Cantius)

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. John Cantius Parish in St. Cloud remain a single parish with a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to maintain Catholic education choices, faith formation and religious education alternatives, liturgy and music ministry, staffing for youth ministry, parish nursing/outreach, business management and support service resources. If a resident pastor is not available, St. John Cantius may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with neighboring St. Cloud parishes.

St. Cloud (Newman Center)

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that Christ Church-Newman Center Parish in St. Cloud remain a single parish with a resident pastor, a pastoral associate and a full-time religious education director. The parish is encouraged to see as its priority its ministry to the students at St. Cloud State University and the St. Cloud Technical College. The assigned pastor may also be identified as a sacramental minister to the students at Cathedral High School/John XXIII Middle School and the St. Cloud Children's Home.

St. Cloud (St. Mary's Cathedral)

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud remain a single parish with a resident pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to maintain Catholic education choices, faith formation and religious education alternatives, liturgy and music ministry, staffing for youth ministry, parish nursing/outreach, business management and support service resources. St. Mary's is also encouraged to continue to welcome other priests, transitional deacons and religious in residence to maintain a strong religious presence at the Diocese of St. Cloud's cathedral parish.

St. Stephen and Sartell

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Stephen in St. Stephen and St. Francis Xavier in Sartell are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These twinned parishes are asked to continue to strongly support the Catholic school options available to their parishioners. These twinned parishes are also encouraged to plan and staff collaboratively in areas related to faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, youth ministry, parish nursing/outreach, business management and support services.

Waite Park

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Joseph Parish in Waite Park remain a single parish with a resident pastor, a pastoral associate and a deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to maintain Catholic education choices, faith formation and religious education alternatives, liturgy and music ministry, staffing for youth ministry, parish nursing/outreach, business management and support service resources.

Albany

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that Seven Dolors Parish in Albany remain a single parish with a resident pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to support the Catholic school, faith formation and religious education alternatives, staffing for youth ministry, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach and appropriate business management and support service resources.

Avon

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Benedict Parish in Avon remain a single parish with a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to continue to support Catholic schools, faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Francis de Sales in Belgrade, St. Donatus in Brooten and SS. Peter and Paul in Elrosa are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish faith community be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with seasonal (spring-summer) weekend assistance from a Spanish-speaking priest. These clustered parishes are encouraged to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. If the Diocese of New Ulm closes St. Anthony Parish in Regal, St. Francis Parish in Belgrade should be prepared to welcome those choosing to join the parish.

Cold Spring, Richmond and Rockville

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Boniface in Cold Spring, SS. Peter and Paul in Richmond and Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Rockville are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended this three-parish faith community be staffed by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor), a pastoral associate and a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. One member of this team should be bilingual (English/Spanish). These parishes are encouraged to collaborate in efforts to staff and support Catholic schools, faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry, business management and support services.

Collegeville

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. John the Baptist Parish in Collegeville remain a single parish with a Benedictine pastor. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with neighboring parishes to support Catholic schools, faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/ outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Eden Valley and St. Nicholas

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Assumption in Eden Valley and St. Nicholas in St. Nicholas are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes share a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parishes are asked to continue to support the Catholic school options available to their parishioners. These twinned parishes are also encouraged to plan and staff collaboratively in areas related to faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry, business management and related support services.

Farming and St. Martin

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Catherine in Farming and St. Martin in St. Martin are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be staffed by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parishes are asked to continue to support the Catholic school options available to their parishioners. These twinned parishes are also encouraged to plan and staff collaboratively in areas related to faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry, business management and related support services.

Freeport, New Munich, St. Anthony and St. Rosa

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Sacred Heart in Freeport, Immaculate Conception in New Munich, St. Anthony in St. Anthony and St. Rose of Lima in St. Rosa are asked to join in a four-parish cluster. It is recommended this four-parish faith community be staffed by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. These parishes are encouraged to collaborate in efforts to staff and support Catholic schools, faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Greenwald,Meire Grove, Melrose and Spring Hill

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Andrew in Greenwald, St. John the Baptist in Meire Grove, St. Mary in Melrose and St. Michael in Spring Hill are asked to join in a four-parish cluster. It is recommended this four-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. One member of this pastoral team should be bilingual (En-glish/Spanish). This four-parish cluster is asked to share in continued support of Catholic education and to collaborate in staffing for religious education and faith formation, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Jacobs Prairie

After prayer and dialogue, St. James Parish in Jacobs Prairie is recommended to close. Maintenance of parish records will be requested of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Rockville. Parishioners will be encouraged to consider membership at the parishes in Cold Spring, St. Joseph or Rockville.

Kimball and Pearl Lake

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Anne in Kimball and Holy Cross in Pearl Lake are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The twinned parishes are encouraged to offer continued support for Catholic education and to collaborate in staffing for faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Lake Henry, Paynesville and Roscoe

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Margaret in Lake Henry, St. Louis in Paynesville and St. Agnes in Roscoe are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish faith community be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These clustered parishes are encouraged to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. St. Margaret and St. Agnes parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Padua

After prayer and dialogue, St. Anthony Parish in Padua is recommended to close. Maintenance of parish records will be requested of St. Donatus Parish in Brooten. Parishioners will be encouraged to consider membership in the parishes at Brooten, Elrosa or Sauk Centre.

St. Joseph

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Joseph Parish in St. Joseph remain a single parish with a resident pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to collaborate with nearby parishes in efforts to staff and support the Catholic school, faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Sauk Centre and West Union

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Our Lady of the Angels and St. Paul in Sauk Centre and St. Alexius in West Union are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish cluster be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. This cluster is encouraged to continue to offer support for the area Catholic grade school and to collaborate in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support staffing. St. Alexius Parish may be asked to schedule Mass on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Belle Prairie and Little Falls

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Holy Family in Belle Prairie, Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Mary in Little Falls are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish faith community be staffed by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. This parish cluster is asked to share in continued support for Catholic education and youth ministry. Collaboration is also encouraged in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach and support staffing.

Bowlus, Elmdale, St. Francis, Swanville and Upsala

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Stanislaus Kostka in Bowlus, St. Edward in Elmdale, St. Francis of Assisi in St. Francis, St. John the Baptist in Swanville and St. Mary in Upsala are asked to join in a five-parish cluster. It is recommended this five-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. This parish cluster is also encouraged to share in the support of a full-time youth ministry resource and to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach and support services. St. Edward and St. Francis may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Browerville and Clarissa

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Christ the King in Browerville and St. Joseph in Clarissa are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. These twinned parishes are encouraged to offer continued support for the Catholic grade school. The parishes are also encouraged to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Buckman, Harding, Lastrup and Pierz

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Michael in Buckman, Holy Cross in Harding, St. John Nepomuk in Lastrup and St. Joseph in Pierz are asked to join in a four-parish cluster. It is recommended this four-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parishes in the cluster should continue their strong support of the area Catholic grade school. Flensburg, Randall and Sobieski

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Sacred Heart in Flensburg, St. James in Randall and St. Stanislaus in Sobieski are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish faith community be staffed by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These parishes are asked to support children attending the Catholic schools in Little Falls. This parish cluster is also encouraged to share in the support of a full-time youth ministry resource and to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach and support services.

Grey Eagle and Long Prairie

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Joseph in Grey Eagle and St. Mary of Mount Carmel in Long Prairie are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. One member of this team should be bilingual (English-Spanish). These parishes are also encouraged to continue to support the Catholic school in Long Prairie and to share in the support of a full-time youth ministry resource and to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach and support services.

Moran

After prayer and dialogue, St. Isidore Parish in Moran is recommended to close. Maintenance of parish records and perpetual care of the cemetery will be requested of Christ the King Parish in Browerville. Parishioners are encouraged to consider membership with the parishes in Browerville, Clarissa, Motley or Staples.

Motley and Staples

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Michael in Motley and Sacred Heart in Staples are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These parishes are encouraged to maintain Catholic education alternatives and to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

North Prairie and Royalton

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Holy Cross in North Prairie and Holy Trinity in Royalton are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. These parishes are encouraged to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. Holy Cross Parish may be asked to schedule Mass on alternate weekends with other parishes in the area.

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Mary Parish in Alexandria remain a single parish served by a resident pastor and an associate if one is available, as well as pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. St. Mary is encouraged to continue to support staffing resources for the school and in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry, etc. The parish is also encouraged to be a resource for other twinned or clustered parishes in the region.

Belle River and Osakis

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Nicholas in Belle River and Immaculate Conception in Osakis are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. These twinned parishes are encouraged to collaborate in the areas of religious education and faith formation, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. The parishes are asked to continue to support students attending the Catholic school in Osakis.

Bertha, Bluffton, Henning, Verndale and Wadena

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Joseph in Bertha, St. John the Baptist in Bluffton, St. Edward in Henning, St. Frederick in Verndale and St. Ann in Wadena are asked to join in a five-parish cluster. It is recommended this five-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. The parishes in this cluster should continue their strong support of the area Catholic grade school. This parish cluster is also encouraged to share in the support of a full-time youth ministry resource and to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach and support services. St. Joseph and St. Frederick parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Blue Grass and Menahga

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Hubert in Blue Grass and Our Lady of the Assumption in Menahga are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a single pastor. The parishes are encouraged to share staffing and resources in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/ outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Brandon, Millerville, Parkers Prairie and Urbank

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Ann in Brandon, Our Lady of Seven Dolors in Millerville, St. William in Parkers Prairie and Sacred Heart in Urbank are asked to join in a four- parish cluster. It is recommended that this four-parish faith community be staffed by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon, with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These clustered parishes are encouraged to share staffing and resources in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/ outreach, youth ministry and support services with other parishes in the cluster. Our Lady of Seven Dolors and Sacred Heart parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in the cluster.

Breckenridge, Kent and Tintah

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Mary of the Presentation in Breckenridge, St. Thomas in Kent and St. Gall in Tintah are asked to join in a three- parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish faith community be served by a single pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parishes are encouraged to share staffing and resources in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services, and to continue their support of those students attending the Catholic school in Breckenridge. St. Thomas and St. Gall parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in the cluster.

Browns Valley, Dumont and Wheaton

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Anthony in Browns Valley, St. Peter in Dumont and Ave Maria in Wheaton are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish cluster be served by a pastor with a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. A pastoral associate at St. Anthony Parish may be another option for this cluster's pastoral team and/or affiliation with the parishes in Beardsley and Graceville of the Diocese of New Ulm. The parishes are encouraged to share staffing and resources in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. St. Anthony and St. Peter parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in the cluster.

Butler, Dent, Perham and Rush Lake

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Holy Cross in Butler, Sacred Heart in Dent, St. Henry and St. Stanislaus in Perham and St. Lawrence in Rush Lake are asked to join in a five-parish cluster. It is recommended this five-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon, with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. The parishes in the cluster should continue their strong support of the area Catholic grade school. This parish cluster is also encouraged to share in the support of a full-time youth ministry resource and to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach and support services. Holy Cross and St. Stanislaus parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in the cluster.

Chokio and Morris

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Mary in Chokio and Assumption in Morris are asked to twin. It is recommended that these parishes be served by a pastor, a pastoral associate and a full-time deacon, with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. The parishes are encouraged to share staffing and resources in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. The parishes should continue to offer support for those students attending the Catholic grade school in Morris.

Elbow Lake, Herman and Kensington

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Olaf in Elbow Lake, St. Charles in Herman and Our Lady of the Runestone in Kensington are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish faith community be staffed by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. These clustered parishes are encouraged to collaborate in areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. St. Charles and Our Lady of the Runestone parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Elizabeth, Fergus Falls and Pelican Rapids

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Elizabeth in Elizabeth, Our Lady of Victory in Fergus Falls and St. Leonard of Port Mauritius in Pelican Rapids are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended that this three-parish faith community be staffed by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor), and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. One member of this pastoral team should be bilingual (English/Spanish). The parishes are encouraged to share staffing in the areas of faith formation and religious education, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. The parishes are also encouraged to continue their support of those students attending the Catholic school in Fergus Falls. St. Elizabeth Parish may be asked to schedule Mass on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Glenwood, Reno Twp. and Villard

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Sacred Heart in Glenwood, St. John Nepomuk in Reno Township and St. Bartholomew in Villard are asked to join in a three- parish cluster. It is recommended this three-parish faith community be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon, with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These clustered parishes are encouraged to collaborate in areas of religious education and faith formation, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. St. John Nepomuk and St. Bartholomew parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in the cluster.

Maine and Battle Lake

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Our Lady of the Lake in Battle Lake and St. James in Maine are asked to remain twinned. It is recommended that these parishes be served by a single pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. It is recommended this three-parish faith community share a pastor and two pastoral associates or full- time deacons, with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest if available. These clustered parishes are also encouraged to share resources in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Cambridge and Isanti

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Christ the King in Cambridge and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Isanti are asked to consider being twinned. It is recommended that two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) serve these parishes with the assistance of a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon to work with this pastoral team. These parishes are also encouraged to collaborate in staffing for faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. Longer term considerations should include Catholic education and the creation of Catholic school alternatives.

Foreston and Milaca

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Louis Bertrand in Foreston and St. Mary in Milaca are asked to twin. It is recommended that these parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parishes are encouraged to share staffing and resources in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Hillman, Onamia, Vineland and Wahkon

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Rita in Hillman, Holy Cross in Onamia, St. Therese in Vineland and Sacred Heart in Wahkon are asked to join in a four- parish cluster. It is recommended that this four-parish faith community be staffed by a pastor with weekend help from priests of the Crosier Priory in Onamia. These parishes are also encouraged to share a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon and a youth minister to serve the needs of the parishioners in these clustered parishes. Collaborative staffing should also be considered in the areas of faith formation and religious education, parish nursing/outreach and support services. St. Therese Parish may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Princeton

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Edward Parish in Princeton remain a single parish served by a resident pastor with a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. The parish is encouraged to share resources with other parishes in the region to support youth ministry and faith formation, parish nursing and outreach.

Benton/Sherburne Region

 

Becker and Clear Lake

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Immaculate Conception in Becker and St. Marcus in Clear Lake are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon, with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest in residence. These parishes are encouraged to collaborate in areas involving faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. Parishioners are also encouraged to work collaboratively with the parishes in Clearwater, St. Augusta, and St. Augustine in St. Cloud, if expanded opportunities for Catholic education or other parish staffing partnerships develop.

Big Lake

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Big Lake remain a single parish, served by a resident pastor with a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. Our Lady of the Lake is encouraged to collaborate with nearby parishes in areas involving faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing /outreach, youth ministry and support services. Parishioners are also encouraged to work with parishes in Elk River, Isanti, Zimmerman and the St. Paul-Minneapolis Archdiocese if opportunities for Catholic education or other parish staffing partnerships develop.

Brennyville, Gilman and Morrill

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Elizabeth in Brennyville, SS. Peter and Paul in Gilman and St. Joseph in Morrill are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended these parishes be served by a pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. These parishes are also encouraged to continue their support for Catholic education. The parishes are encouraged to work collaboratively in areas involving faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. St. Elizabeth and St. Joseph parishes may be asked to schedule Masses on alternate weekends with other parishes in this cluster.

Duelm and Foley

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes St. Lawrence in Duelm and St. John in Foley are asked to twin. It is recommended that these twinned parishes be served by a single pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. These parishes should continue to offer united support to the Catholic school. These twinned parishes are also encouraged to look at collaborative staffing in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services.

Elk River

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Andrew Parish in Elk River remain a single parish, served by a resident pastor, and an associate or a retired pastor, if available, in addition to a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. St. Andrew is encouraged to continue to support staffing resources in the areas of faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, youth ministry, parish nursing/outreach and business management. The parish is also encouraged to maintain and support its Catholic grade school, while working with other parishes in the region to explore options for additional Catholic education opportunities in the future. Finally, the parish is asked to support efforts to create a new parish faith community in Ramsey if growth in the area continues at its current unprecedented rate.

Mayhew Lake, Sauk Rapids and Rice

After prayer and dialogue, the parishes Annunciation in Mayhew Lake, Sacred Heart in Sauk Rapids and Immaculate Conception in Rice are asked to join in a three-parish cluster. It is recommended this three-parish faith community be served by two pastors (or a pastor and an associate pastor) and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon, with weekend Mass assistance from a retired priest. This three-parish faith community should continue to offer strong support for Catholic education. Collaborative staffing in the areas of liturgy and music ministry, youth ministry, parish nursing/ outreach, business management and support services should also be explored. The two smaller parishes may wish to consider the involvement of full-time pastoral associates to join the pastoral team serving this three-parish faith community.

Minden Twp.

After prayer and dialogue, St. Patrick Parish in Minden Township is recommended to close. Transfer of parish records and perpetual care of the cemetery will be requested of St. Lawrence Parish in Duelm. Parishioners are encouraged to consider membership at the parishes in Duelm, Clear Lake, Sauk Rapids or St. Augustine in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud (St. Augustine)

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Augustine Parish in St. Cloud remain a single parish, served by a resident pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. St. Augustine is encouraged to continue to support staffing resources in the areas faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry, business management and support services. The parish is also encouraged to be a resource for other parishes in the area, supporting and maintaining its Catholic grade school, and working to explore options for additional Catholic education opportunities in the future.

Zimmerman

After prayer and dialogue, it is recommended that St. Pius X Parish in Zimmerman remain a single parish, served by a resident pastor and a pastoral associate or a full-time deacon. St. Pius X is encouraged to collaborate with nearby parishes in areas involving faith formation and religious education, liturgy and music ministry, parish nursing/outreach, youth ministry and support services. Parishioners are also encouraged to work with parishes in Big Lake, Elk River, Isanti and the St. Paul-Minneapolis Archdiocese if opportunities for Catholic education or other parish staffing partnerships develop.
